We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team at Sisco Jobs. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures using masonry techniques.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Laying Foundations: Construct and repair concrete foundations, walls, and floors using masonry materials.
  • Masonry Work: Lay bricks, stones, and blocks to build or repair structures such as walls, pathways, and other masonry work.
  • Material Preparation: Measure and cut materials to the desired specifications for masonry construction.
  • Mortar Mixing: Mix mortar, cement, or grout using hand tools or mixing machines to ensure proper consistency.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints, plans, and sketches to determine material requirements and layout.
  • Site Preparation: Set out patterns and foundations for construction projects, ensuring alignment and level.
  • Tool Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for masonry tasks.
  • Site Safety: Follow all safety regulations on site to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or relevant vocational training preferred.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience as a mason (home country experience acceptable).
Skills Required:
  • Masonry Skills: Proficiency in bricklaying, block laying, and concrete work.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and material specifications.
  • Construction Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction materials and tools used in masonry.
  • Physical Strength: Strong physical strength and stamina to handle manual labor and work under various environmental conditions.
  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and craftsmanship.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving skills to address onsite challenges and material adjustments.

  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work extended hours if required.
