  • Assemble and install diverse piping components, including valves, elbows, and couplings, ensuring all fittings are secure and functional.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to comprehend project specifications and contribute to effective piping solutions.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests on installed systems to verify their operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Address issues by repairing or replacing defective pipes, fittings, or fixtures as necessary.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies on piping systems to mitigate leaks and other potential problems.
  • Order and manage materials and supplies essential for ongoing pipefitting projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Certification as a Pipefitter or successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Pipefitter in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications effectively.
  • Skilled in the use of pipefitting tools and equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity for handling heavy pipes and working in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
