Book Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Book Binder to join our team at AL BONY PRINTING PRESS LLC. As a Book Binder, you will be responsible for creating high-quality book bindings using various materials and techniques.

• Collaboration with Designers: Meet with book designers to discuss final product specifications and ensure that our books meet the highest standards.
• Paper Preparation: Cut papers to size using hand and machine cutting tools, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Binding and Finishing: Glue and stitch components into the cover using manually operated machines, and attach endpapers to the body of the book.
• Trimming and Finishing: Trim book edges to size and apply color to signatures and edges, ensuring a professional finish.
• Cover Assembly: Cut and attach outside cover material to the board cover, and glue outside endpapers to the final cover.
• Quality Control: Weigh and stack books for shipment, ensuring that they meet our quality standards.
