Project Details:

To develop and implement an industry best procurement implementation strategy and operating model for the domain which meets business domains and enterprise needs.

Main Accountabilities:
  1. Collaborate with Management, Procurement Director, and team to understand business requirements and work closely with SAP Ariba Implementing partner and internal IT teams.
  2. Lead through the entire lifecycle of an SAP Ariba implementation.
  3. Design and communicate a strategy that balances the needs of the enterprise and the business domains.
  4. Guide through the design process to make informed decisions with full visibility into SAP Ariba best practices.
  5. Evaluate potential solutions against business requirements, ensuring they align with broader architectural and security standards and meet tactical and strategic objectives.
  6. Analyze process and problems, anticipate needs, identify issues, and propose potential solutions.
  7. Contribute to the development of processes and procedures which leverage SAP Ariba solution functionality being deployed.
  8. Manage project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards to achieve high satisfaction.
  9. Share expertise through training and communications to ensure knowledge transfer and the desired level of self-sufficiency is achieved.
  10. Familiarity with interfacing master data from SAP ERP to Ariba and vice versa.
  11. Work collaboratively with Development/QA teams to build/test the solution.
  12. Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases.
  13. Facilitate review sessions with business owners and end-user representatives.
  14. Demonstrate business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.
Requirements:
  1. Creativity: Develops original and innovative thinking to produce new ideas and create innovative products.
  2. Process Orientation: Identifies problems and initiates necessary changes; designs practices, procedures, and systems to manage work efficiently.
  3. Communication: Clearly conveys complex and technical business issues to diverse audiences, and projects a highly credible, polished image in presentations and communications.
  4. Decision-Making: Weighs the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one; acts decisively and swiftly.
  5. Support the business domain leaders to build, lead, develop, appraise, and motivate a team of resources that is capable of satisfying the accountabilities described above.
  6. Proven experience in delivering this type of solutions to challenging business requirements for project initiatives.
  7. Exposure and experience in areas such as procurement process improvement and SAP Ariba implementation.
Experience & Education:

More than 12 years of experience in project management and procurement transformation.

Minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP Ariba and SAP ERP.

Hands-on experience with implementing SAP Ariba programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or related field. Master's preferred.
