About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Commis 3 to join our culinary team at FIVE Hotels and Resorts. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation while working closely with senior chefs to prepare and present dishes that meet FIVE's remarkable culinary standards.
- Assist in menu development, infusing each dish with innovative flavors and presentation styles.
- Contribute to maintaining proper mise en place and stock rotation, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
- Uphold impeccable cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.
Requirements
- A proven track record as a Commis 3 or similar role in a luxury hotel environment or fine dining restaurant.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in culinary basics, including impressive knife skills, cooking methods, and ingredient preparation.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and practices, health and safety regulations, and best practices in restaurant operations.
- A positive 'can-do' attitude, deep-seated passion for the culinary arts, and excellent interpersonal skills.
