About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to join our team at YEMNAK INTERNATIONAL. As a key member of our Customer Reliability Engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large production-grade distributed systems on Google Cloud Platform, selecting the most appropriate tools to tackle business problems at the right scale.
  • Build and test cloud-native applications on GCP, with a focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of cloud-related technologies and articulate best practice approaches and practices.
  • Optimize GKE workload management and logging and monitoring via Stackdriver or other container monitoring solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in cloud and container solutions, including k8s, GKE, and Anthos.
  • Experience in deploying GKE Private/Public Clusters with deployment best practices.
  • Google IAM / RBAC / Workload Identity for Kubernetes and GKE.
  • GKE nodes Label/Tag strategy and appropriate label instances (key-value pairs) to support all asset management objectives.
  • Cluster and Pod Security and Policies.
  • Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes.
  • Experience with Deployment Manager / Terraform / Other to deploy/manage GKE / Anthos (Infra as Code).
  • Experience collaborating with developers and platform engineers, contributing to architecture and continuously optimizing infrastructure to remove bottlenecks and improve automation.
  • A scripting background with shell scripts and one or more of the following: Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
