Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create, update, and manage geospatial maps and spatial data layers.
  • Integrate geospatial data with other business systems and applications.
  • Conduct spatial analysis and modeling to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Analyze geographic relationships among varying types of data.
  • Provide detailed reports and visualizations based on spatial data.
  • Support business teams with geospatial-related tasks.
  • Assist in the development of business plans, market research, and feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical support and training to business staff on geospatial applications and tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of geospatial data through rigorous validation and verification processes.
  • Implement and maintain data standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in geospatial analysis are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with geospatial data in a business environment.
  • Proven experience with geospatial software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
  • Proficiency in geospatial software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in database management and spatial analysis techniques.
