Field Engineer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our Projects department in Dubai. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning maritime electronics on board ships.

About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of navigation and communication solutions for the maritime industry. You will be responsible for:
  • Installing equipment based on technical drawings.
  • Commissioning equipment and handing it over to the customer.
  • Coordinating on-site activities in collaboration with the shipyard and other parties working on board.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Your primary responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
  • Working with a wide range of equipment, including radars, sonars, chart systems, radio equipment, and autopilot systems.
  • Ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support.

Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Vocational level of education and thinking, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • Experienced in working in a technical/industrial environment, preferably a background in the maritime industry.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
