Project Engineer


Interpharm Pharmaceutical Distribution is in search of a Project Engineer. This role encompasses the comprehensive oversight of engineering projects, including strategic planning, growth initiatives, financial management, team development, quality assurance, and client engagement. The position also involves business development and revenue collection activities. The primary emphasis of this role is on client engagement, technical execution, and project oversight related to pharmaceutical distribution and logistics during the operational process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of engineering services and projects to ensure optimal performance and profitability. Lead a team of engineers and technicians, assess their performance, and support their professional growth and development.
  • Supervise the preparation of standard proposals and quotes to clients to ensure accurate service scoping, manpower availability, and pricing strategies.
  • Accountable for all profit and loss responsibilities.
  • Drive business development efforts including project identification, scope development, proposal creation, and cultivating project opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to prepare responses to requests for proposals and qualifications, focusing on the technical aspects of submissions.
  • Ensure the overall safety of the department and actively participate in the safety leadership within the organization.
  • Guarantee that engineering and inspection tasks in the office, laboratory, and field are conducted with high quality and efficiency.
  • Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and continuously seek new project opportunities.
  • Ensure that reports, proposals, inspections, and information are accurately prepared and reported, maintain deliverable schedules, and adhere to routine company administrative policies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, but not mandatory.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in engineering or project management.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and testing requirements.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in computer skills and possess management and financial acumen.
  • Able to train, mentor, supervise, and manage personnel effectively.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
