We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architectural Expert to join our team at National Petroleum Construction Company Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in naval architecture and marine engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement naval architectural calculations and documents for offshore projects, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
- Conduct barge ballasting and stability calculations during load out and launching of structures.
- Perform calculation of stability and ballasting requirements during transportation of structures.
- Carry out mooring analyses and stability of lifting vessels during installation.
- Conduct mooring analyses of cargo barges during load out.
- Perform motion analyses of transportation barges.
- Develop float-over installation analyses.
- Conduct inclining experiment and deadweight survey.
- Prepare trim and stability booklet.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in naval architectural design.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Conversant with MWS and Classification Society guidelines, codes, and regulations.
- Experience in naval architecture software (GHS, Romeo, SESAM, SIMO, etc.) preferred.
