Job Summary

This role involves reviewing customer prescriptions for accuracy, ensuring the correct dispensing of medications, and providing information on drug interactions, side effects, and dosage. The ideal candidate will be able to compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review Prescriptions: Verify the accuracy of customer prescriptions to ensure the correct dispensing of medications.
  2. Provide Information: Educate customers on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication storage.
  3. Compound and Dispense Medications: Prepare and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
  4. Assist Customers: Conduct necessary questioning to understand customer needs and provide assistance when required.
  5. Achieve Sales Targets: Use sales techniques to meet sales targets while up-selling and cross-selling Super Care categories.
  6. Order and Purchase Supplies: Manage pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs, maintaining stock storage and handling.
  7. Comply with Regulations: Adhere to local rules and regulations regarding pharmacy activities, including preparation, labeling, and delivery of medication.
  8. Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of pharmacy activities as required by external authorities.
  9. Liaise with Insurance Companies: Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues.
  10. Daily Operational Tasks: Perform daily tasks such as inventory management, expiry management, and merchandising.
