Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Construction Inspector to join our team at AECOM. This role is crucial for ensuring that all construction activities adhere to the established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possess a solid understanding of fundamental design requirements, along with familiarity in construction practices, finishes, and relevant building codes.
  • Demonstrate experience across various building types, with a particular focus on horizontal developments, mixed-use residential and commercial structures, as well as retail and hospitality projects.
  • Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports that articulate findings and insights clearly and concisely in proficient written English.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of construction methodologies and techniques.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of overall experience in the construction field, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role within the UAE, particularly in buildings and villa finishes.
  • For the Inspector role, a Diploma in Engineering is mandatory. Candidates aspiring to advance to the Engineer level must possess a relevant degree in the engineering discipline.
