Overview: As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of Dubai Customs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document their requirements.

2. Develop, manage, and enhance the Enterprise Technical Architecture (ETA) related meta-model and repository.

3. Oversee and maintain enterprise-level technology assets within the EA repository, acting as their steward.

4. Work in conjunction with PMO, Solution Delivery, and Service Delivery Teams to establish processes governing ETA within various programs and projects.

5. Facilitate knowledge transfer to Technical Architects and junior staff within the unit.

6. Define and refine the Enterprise Technical Architecture in alignment with evolving business needs, ensuring compliance with established architecture standards.

7. Lead Technology Life-Cycle Management, which includes identifying emerging technologies, defining usage standards, and managing the introduction and retirement of technologies, including tools, middleware, databases, server software, and packaged products.

8. Collaborate closely with Business Architects to develop and manage the Enterprise Solution blueprint, ensuring its evolution in response to changes in the business and IT environment.

9. Guide and manage the development of standards, guidelines, and policies related to ETA.

10. Partner with solution vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance with standards and quality of service.

11. Work alongside Business Architects to identify, sequence, and implement key business solutions.

12. Provide leadership in developing solutions and models that transcend departmental boundaries, fostering a holistic approach to Enterprise Architecture that leverages synergies for competitive advantage.

13. Cultivate, motivate, and direct subordinate staff to foster a collaborative team environment aimed at achieving the objectives of the unit and the EA program.
