Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dermatologists in clinical procedures such as skin examinations, biopsies, laser treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
- Educate patients on dermatological conditions, treatment options, medications, and post-procedure care instructions.
- Perform skin assessments, document medical histories, and update patient records accurately.
- Administer medications, injections, and topical treatments as prescribed by dermatologists.
- Provide wound care and dressing changes for patients undergoing dermatological procedures.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and treatment rooms.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments.
- Stay updated on advancements in dermatological treatments, skincare products, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution. Additional certification in dermatology nursing is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dermatology Nurse in a clinic or hospital setting, preferably with experience in cosmetic dermatology.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Dubai or eligibility to obtain one.
- Knowledge of dermatological conditions, treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
