Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit / Recovery Nurse to join our team at the Client of Medacs Healthcare. The successful candidate will have robust experience in neuro, cardiac, or transplant care, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anaesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transfer and care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a reputable institution (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or Europe).
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in an appropriate hospital setting within the relevant specialty.
  • Strong knowledge of neuro, cardiac, or transplant care, with a minimum of three years' experience in transplant care (preferably liver transplant). Experience with both deceased and living donors is essential.
