Key Responsibilities:
  • Drilling Operations Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to drilling operations teams, ensuring safe and efficient execution of drilling programs.
  • Well Planning and Execution: Develop and implement well plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of drilling supervisors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with drilling operations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including HSE, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on drilling operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience: 20+ years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with 15+ years in offshore drilling and operations, and 7 years as an offshore drilling supervisor.
  • Certifications: Must have valid IWCF level IV (Surface – Supervisor) Certification.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of drilling operations, well planning, and risk management, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Language: Fluency in English (en-US)
