Job Title: Senior Service Engineer - Automation Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Engineer to join our team at ABB. As a Senior Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and services to our customers in the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support to customers on ABB automation systems, including Infi90, 800xA, and Symphony Plus (S+).
  • Service Delivery: Plan and execute service work and projects according to customer order and expectation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Customer Retention: Deliver superior customer experiences and effectively communicate service work timelines and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical problems and issues through remote or on-site activity, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Provide coaching and supervision to technicians and engineers, and lead complex site activities to ensure successful project execution.
  • Material Management: Prepare material lists and ensure that all necessary materials, parts, and equipment are available and of high quality for service activities.
  • Project Management: Support project managers in issuing claims and new scope of work, and ensure that all project documents are reviewed for conformity, safety, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role, with experience in the automation area and knowledge of ABB systems.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, process knowledge in Oil & Gas, and excellent customer interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Language: Fluency in English language is mandatory.
