Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Recruitment Lead to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to attract top technical talent. You will work closely with our Tech/Ops team to source and select candidates globally, aligning with our employer branding efforts and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement effective recruitment plans to attract qualified technical staff.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers and recruiters.
  3. Utilize industry networks, job boards, social media and other channels to source potential candidates.
  4. Develop and maintain industry knowledge around competitor airline activity.
  5. Establish and nurture relationships with prospective candidate pools.
  6. Contribute to recommendations on location strategy for technical roadshows.
  7. Lead and participate in the selection process for technical candidates, ensuring a fair, consistent, rigorous and equitable process is followed.
  8. Coordinate and conduct assessments, including group assessment centres, technical competency tests and interviews, alongside key business stakeholders.
  9. Provide guidance and support to Technical management team on best practice assessment and selection methodology.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform recruitment strategies.

Requirements

  1. 3-5 Years experience within Talent Acquisition in a complex global environment, ideally for technical roles.
  2. Previous airline experience is desirable.
  3. Proven expertise in assessment and selection methodology (e.g., design and facilitation of assessment centres, competency based interviewing, psychometrics).
  4. A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage key stakeholders with credibility.
  6. Able to lead and manage recruitment campaigns, with a particular focus on cultural awareness.
  7. An ambassadorial presence, able to represent Etihad in a professional, engaging and personable manner.
  8. Able to leverage data and analytics to drive decisions.
