Role Overview

The position of Data Insights Analyst is integral to our team, focusing on utilizing data to influence strategic initiatives and enhance sales effectiveness. This role encompasses the design and management of data systems alongside providing analytical insights to propel sales growth. You will collaborate with various departments to develop data-centric strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management:
    • Establish data standards and best practices to ensure uniform data management across the organization.
    • Work with IT teams to implement data infrastructure solutions, including data warehouses and ETL processes.
  • Data Modeling and Integration:
    • Create data models that align with business needs and analytical requirements.
    • Integrate data from various sources, including sales systems and market research databases.
  • Sales Data Analysis:
    • Examine sales performance metrics and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
    • Provide actionable insights to refine sales strategies and promotional efforts.
    • Develop predictive models to assist in sales forecasting and planning.
  • Reporting and Visualization:
    • Design interactive dashboards and reports to convey key performance indicators.
    • Tailor reports to meet the specific needs of stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Engage with sales, marketing, finance, and IT teams to understand business needs and prioritize data initiatives.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on data-related projects, providing guidance to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX and data modeling.
  • Proven expertise in database management and data integration.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and market dynamics in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
