About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our Sectors, Themes, and Finance Solutions Department (STF). As a Senior Investment Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products and innovative finance solutions.

You will provide advisory support to our Client Departments, ensuring that new products meet client needs, generate development impact, and align with AIIB's mandate. This role requires a strong understanding of current trends in innovative financing instruments utilized by multilateral development banks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the preparation of new or amended product proposals for approval. Your expertise will enable us to stay ahead of the curve and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Key Requirements
  • A Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies or related fields.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in investment operations, product development and operationalization, preferably with multilateral or bilateral development financial institutions.
  • A proven track record in managing product development cycles and best practices, particularly in financial products and services offered by multilateral development banks and bilateral development financial institutions.
  • A deep understanding of current trends in innovative financing instruments utilized by multilateral development banks and bilateral development financial institutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of methodology, trends and effective strategies for Private Capital Mobilization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to quickly assess and respond to diverse product development opportunities.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English, with additional languages spoken by AIIB Members being an advantage.
