Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. As a key member of our web development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality websites and plugins using the WordPress platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Website Development: Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins that meet client or project requirements. Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
  2. Content Management: Manage and update website content using WordPress CMS. Ensure content is SEO-friendly and adheres to best practices.
  3. Integration and Troubleshooting: Integrate third-party APIs and tools into WordPress websites. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality, performance, or security.
  4. Optimization and Maintenance: Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO. Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and backups. Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to non-technical team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in WordPress development or similar roles.
  3. Technical Skills:
    1. Core Expertise: Proficiency in WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
    2. Frameworks: Familiarity with WordPress frameworks like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
    3. Tools: Experience with version control systems like Git and website optimization tools.
    4. SEO: Basic understanding of SEO principles and their implementation in WordPress.
    5. Databases: Knowledge of MySQL database management.
    6. Others: Familiarity with REST APIs, WooCommerce, and other WordPress extensions.
  4. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
