The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring business operations and providing technical expertise to support overall corporate strategy, business objectives, and divisional mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Monitoring and Analysis:** Monitor business operations and analyze data to understand petroleum engineering studies and projects, ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategy, business objectives, and divisional mandates.
- **Policy Development:** Develop and advise on Petroleum Engineering policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and the adoption of new and existing technologies to ensure optimum flow assurances and asset performance.
- **Surface Well Testing:** Evaluate and set new guidelines and criteria for effective surface well testing and evaluation of all producing and injecting wells.
- **Production Optimization:** Promote effective integration of key aspects of production optimization with other disciplines related to petroleum engineering and support different types of well intervention & Rigless operations, including well test programmers, in line with company, safety, and industry standards.
- **Technology Introduction:** Review and promote the introduction of new production optimization technologies in ADNOC Offshore.
- **Standard Operating Procedures:** Develop standard operating procedures and guidelines and promote their application in ADNOC Offshore.
- **Well and Surface Models:** Establish an articulate link between well and surface models, focusing on production optimization and continuous improvement, results-oriented culture, feedback loops, and group peer reviews.
Requirements:
- Strong technical expertise in petroleum engineering and production optimization.
