The Director - Building Design role at AtkinsRéalis is a key position in the Middle East business. The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction, and oversee technical excellence associated with the E&D - Building Design Capability. This involves ensuring quality deliverables, working closely with Markets and Accounts to meet regional business revenue and EBIT targets, and focusing on maximizing profit from the overall E&D - Capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • A - Profitable Delivery:
    • Support all Markets and Accounts in delivering best-in-class deliverables for the specific Capability.
    • Audit projects to ensure compliance and utilization of AtkinsRéalis best practice.
    • Support KAM & Client Development activities.
    • Lead on KAM and Client Development solely if identified as the best athlete for a client.
  • B - Capability – Operational Excellence:
    • E nsure that the best tools, techniques, and approaches are utilized across all Markets and Accounts.
    • Identify new ways of working where required to improve commercial performance of our projects.
    • Define, administer, and develop Capability-specific tools and techniques.
    • Advise the business on Capability risks and relevant mitigation plans.
  • C - Leadership & Management:
    • Establish and develop overall behaviors for success within the E&D - Building Design Capability and community.
    • Ensure positive behaviors and responsibilities are encouraged, developed, and endorsed in managing organization design and operating model.
    • Lead by example and demonstrate critical behaviors for success: accountability, inspiration, collaboration, inclusivity, and integrity.
  • D - Key Interfaces (Others):
    • Develop a Capability-specific 'Marketing and Communications' Strategy to drive AtkinsRéalis business performance.
