Description:A Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing contractual matters of a project, ensuring all contract activities are carried out to a high standard in accordance with requirements. This includes managing negotiation of terms and conditions with vendors, developing contracts, and supporting Project teams in day-to-day contract management.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to safeguard interests contractually.
- Develop contracts with vendors in line with agreed terms and conditions.
- Support Project teams in administering contracts per the agreed terms and conditions.
- Manage resolution of Project variations, Contractor claims, and other contractual matters as necessary.
- Draft and issue contractual notices and correspondence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the contract administration process from inception to closure.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely completion of tasks.
- Reviewing and analyzing contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Providing guidance and support to Project teams on contractual matters.
- Ensuring compliance with governance and audit procedures.
