The Electric Vehicle Technician will be responsible for executing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on electric vehicles utilizing specialized tools and equipment tailored for Tesla models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on electric vehicles, ensuring high standards of performance and safety.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maintain optimal vehicle functionality.
  • Repair and replace essential vehicle components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and electronic control units.
  • Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in Tesla vehicles.
  • Install, repair, and replace various electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, and lighting systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance and repair activities conducted on Tesla vehicles.
  • Replace or repair defective components, ensuring the reliability of batteries, motors, inverters, and other electrical systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software proficiently to troubleshoot and identify vehicle issues.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate degree or certificate in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is advantageous.
  • Prior experience as an Electrical Technician with a focus on Tesla vehicles is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for vehicle repairs.
