About the Role:
The Retail Audit Specialist is responsible for conducting operational and compliance audits, applying professional audit techniques, and preparing comprehensive reports. This role also involves formulating and implementing the company's retail audit programs, identifying creative insights and outliers, and communicating findings with audited stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate internal controls and apply professional audit techniques to ensure compliance.
- Conduct policy compliance tests and develop solutions to address any issues.
- Perform analytical procedures to identify creative insights and outliers.
- Communicate findings with audited stores and initiate remedial action as needed.
- Share comprehensive audit reports within predefined timelines and discuss findings with direct Line Managers.
- Carry out ad hoc assignments based on management requests.
- Provide assistance to internal teams and lead investigations when required.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a good background in computer applications, including MS Office and data visualization tools. You should be able to think critically, have attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills.
