About This Role

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Simulator Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our flight simulators, ensuring that all tasks are carried out according to strict standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action and manage PMT tasks, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Update NDB, Charts, Checklist, and other relevant documents as required across the fleet.
  • Ensure all QTGs reruns are signed off and follow up on raised deficiencies to closure in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot related issues and communicate with the QTG Specialist for resolution as required.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues, updating respective DRs promptly.
  • Work with senior colleagues during AOGs, coordinating to communicate with other departments for better customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and action Sim issues, providing necessary information to CAE Montreal.
  • Consult and coordinate with Senior colleagues to ensure early closure of open SPR issues.
  • Update Databases on the device, perform visual alignments, and maintain records of parts and tools in Gemini.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of flight simulators and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
