Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Helicopter AW139 VIP Pilot Instructors for a permanent role in the United Arab Emirates. The selected candidate will report directly to the Director and will be responsible for conducting VIP support missions that require adaptability in dynamic operational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pilot-In-Command and/or Instructor Pilot, executing both scheduled and unscheduled flights, including post-maintenance and acceptance missions.
- Engage in meticulous mission planning, aircraft launch, and execution within a one-hour alert notification timeframe.
- Perform mission analysis and risk management, making real-time decisions regarding mission adjustments while in flight.
- Lead single pilot or multi-ship operations to international destinations, conducting Day/Night/NVG/IFR VIP missions.
- In both domestic and international contexts, carry out single pilot operations through complex airspace, while providing guidance to less experienced pilots.
- Conduct safety briefings for crew and non-crew members, ensuring thorough understanding of emergency procedures and mission scope.
- Uphold the reputation of the UAE and the company through professional conduct and appearance.
- Safeguard the security of VIP clients throughout all operations.
- Ensure compliance with all aircraft procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Gather essential briefing information regarding flight purpose, weather conditions, operational protocols, and special instructions. Develop flight plans that consider various factors such as altitude, terrain, and crew capabilities.
- Confirm that VIP aircraft adhere to airworthiness standards, technical manuals, and maintenance best practices.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, ensuring the aircraft is properly loaded, equipped, and manned for the mission.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and effective interaction with diverse groups.
Qualifications:
- TR AW139 from OEM or ATO.
- Age limit: 55 years or younger.
- Minimum of 4000 total flight hours, including 1000 hours as Rotary Wing Captain/PIC.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) or TRI/TRE qualifications.
- Previous NVG qualification is preferred.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 5 or higher.
- Must have flown a helicopter within the last three years.
