About the Client
The client is a newly formed investment manager in Abu Dhabi which is co-investing with SWFs and Pension Funds internationally across sectors. They require deep knowledge of financial markets and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Analysis: Conducting thorough research on investment opportunities and identifying potential risks and rewards.
- Deal Execution: Working closely with clients to structure and negotiate debt transactions and preparing all necessary documentation.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Regularly reviewing portfolio performance and providing updates to clients on key financial metrics and credit performance.
- Market Research Reporting: Providing insights on market trends, industry dynamics, and competitors to support investment decisions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, portfolio managers, and legal teams.
About You
- Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in private debt, private credit, or leveraged finance.
- Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a deep understanding of debt instruments and credit markets.
- Education: A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. A CFA or similar qualification would be advantageous.
- Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills. A team-oriented mindset is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling tools. Knowledge of financial databases and deal management systems is a plus.
