The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards. This role demands extensive knowledge of telecom systems in the oil and gas sector, and previous experience with ADNOC onshore projects or similar major oil and gas projects in the Middle East is crucial.

Main Tasks
  1. Oversee and manage field engineering activities for telecom systems, including installation, configuration, and commissioning on an onshore oil and gas site.
  2. Work closely with project teams to ensure telecom systems meet project specifications, industry standards, and ADNOC requirements.
  3. Provide technical leadership to contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  4. Evaluate and troubleshoot technical issues related to telecom networks, fiber optics, radio, satellite, CCTV, PA/GA, and other communication systems.
  5. Review and develop engineering documents, drawings, and technical specifications to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  6. Foster effective communication with clients and stakeholders to provide technical support and ensure project objectives are achieved on time.
  7. Support project management in resolving technical challenges, offering input for project planning, and contributing to project risk assessments.
