Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Duncan & Ross. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and engineering instrumentation systems for oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop instrument data sheets, specifications, and design documents in compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
  • Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as instrument index, I/O lists, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and control system architecture.
  • Design and specify field instruments, control systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and fire and gas detection systems.
  • Conduct sizing calculations for control valves, pressure safety valves, and flow elements.
  • Review vendor documents and perform technical evaluations for instrumentation equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration and alignment of instrumentation systems with overall project objectives.
  • Support HAZOPs, SIL assessments, and design reviews to address instrumentation and control requirements.
  • Provide technical support during procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
