Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Structural BIM Modeler to join our team at Duncan & Ross in the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in structural engineering and extensive experience in BIM modeling using Revit and other software tools.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate 3D structural models using Revit, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Utilize Navisworks for clash detection and coordination to identify potential issues early on.
  • Create and update detailed drawings, plans, and schedules from BIM models using AutoCAD, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with structural engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior modelers and drafters on BIM processes and software usage, and stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in structural BIM modeling within the GCC region.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with a focus on architectural and engineering applications.
  • Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication and teamwork skills.
