**Job Title:** Project Cost Controller - Oil and Gas Industry

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Controller to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, ensuring compliance with company rules and specifications, and providing input into the development of budgets and cost control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Control: Be informed of Company Rules and Specifications (CR's/GS's), Corporate, TEEPRH and Project procedures related Budget and Cost Control for application to his activities.
  • Annual Budget Sessions: Update and maintain the GMP Annual Estimated Final Cost (annual EFC) accordingly, participating in the development of the various budgets and successive updates with inputs from the GMP team, and from UNISOL.
  • Invoice Processing: Process invoices in accordance with the existing procedures and contracts.
  • Authorized Commitment: Control the Authorized commitment availability when capturing expenses (internal and external), inform the Cost Control Lead on potential overruns.
  • Performance Tracking: Record and control into the UNISOL system the performances on commitments, relevant accruals, updated payment schedules, invoices, and cost control issues as required.
  • Trend Analysis: Highlight any trend and elements that may contribute to a deviation to the agreed consolidated GMP budgets.
  • Quality Control: Participate as quality control in the Delegation of Authority process; as necessary.
  • Reporting: Prepare of the GMP Monthly Cost Report, highlighting costs trends and drifts, to propose corrective measures or actions and participates in the preparation of the GMP Monthly Report.
  • Liaison: Liaise, as requested, with Iraq Affiliate Finance Department, GMP Team and GMP Contractors for all matters related to cost and accounting as required (invoice processing and payment, payment claims and disputes...).
  • Progress Reporting: Timely report to the GMP Project Control Manager, highlighting achieved progress and reporting any area of concern or problem encountered.
  • Confidentiality: Observe and impose strict confidentiality in the performance of his/her duties and specifically with regards to information related to Budget & Cost Control, all along the course of the Project.
  • Monthly Closure: Participate and control monthly closure requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience: Mandatory experience within TotalEnergies, on Projects.
  • Education: Degree: Diplomarelated to the Cost Control / Accounting / Finance /Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: Professional & Contract experience: 10 years minimum in similar position, and with similar large-scale projects & environment in TotalEnergies.
  • Language Skills: Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Language: English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing), French and/or Arabic language is a plus.
