Key Responsibilities
  • System Implementation and Administration
    • Drive the implementation of new and updated systems to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to our operations.
    • Develop an in-depth knowledge of education systems to provide expert support and guidance to our team.
  • Technical Support and Maintenance
    • Create and conduct routine administration and maintenance of a range of systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
    • Installation and configuration of software and support with integration projects to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
    • Troubleshoot software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
    • Upkeep of documentation and technical specifications regarding systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • User Support and Training
    • Assist in the setup and carry-through of end-user helpdesk support efforts to ensure all related application issues are resolved promptly with minimal disruption.
    • Train and assist school personnel in utilizing systems regarding data entry, retrieval, storage, security, manipulation, reporting, and disposal.
  • System Audits and Compliance
    • Perform routine/scheduled audits of systems, including coordinating relevant backups to ensure data integrity and security.
    • Ensure new system setups conform to specified policies and procedures.
  • System Upgrades and Maintenance
    • Configuration and upgrading of systems (on-prem and cloud-hosted) to ensure optimal performance and security.
    • Update systems with new releases, patches, and upgrades to ensure compatibility and security.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar.
    • At least three years of experience managing education systems.
  • Technical Skills
    • Working knowledge of school information systems.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Problem-solving abilities.
    • Multi-tasking skills.
