Key Responsibilities

1. Document the trademarks of clients associated with Dubai Customs who are already registered with the Ministry of Economy, ensuring compliance with the ministry's standards.

2. Assess the necessary documentation required for trademark registration with Dubai Customs, collect applicable fees from clients, and maintain the accuracy of all information.

3. Ensure that all registered trademarks are accurately reflected in the online Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) system, making this information accessible to the Inspection team across all centers to facilitate inspection processes.

4. Communicate trademark registration details to the global headquarters of clients as part of procedural obligations and gather feedback from clients.

5. Receive notifications regarding IPR infringements from clients concerning cargo movements and relay all pertinent details to the appropriate customs center for action.

6. Address complaints from clients regarding any IPR violations, logging these complaints in the online IPR complaint system and forwarding them to the relevant departments for resolution.

7. Monitor the progress of registered complaints with IPR procedures and inspection centers, updating the status of these complaints and reporting unresolved issues to the direct supervisor.

8. Generate regular reports from the IPR online system for management review, aimed at assessing the productivity of the section and identifying areas for improvement.

9. Collaborate with representatives from other IPR sections as necessary.

10. Stay informed about the latest updates and requirements in intellectual property rights, communicating these changes to registered clients.

11. Execute any other related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor promptly and with integrity.
