Job Title: Science Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Science Educator to join our team at Dubai Modern Education School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students and contributing to the development of a world-class education system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students, using a range of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate student performance, using a range of assessment methods to inform teaching and learning.
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and update lesson plans, in consultation with colleagues and senior leaders, to ensure that students receive a high-quality education.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities, including training and coaching, to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders to develop and implement school policies and procedures, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and/or Bachelor's Degree in Education (UAE attestation is a must)
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in the UAE
  • Skills: Strong subject knowledge in Science, excellent teaching and communication skills, ability to assess and evaluate student performance, good organizational and planning skills, ability to incorporate technology into lessons, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, flexibility and adaptability, ability to engage and motivate students, good understanding of student development and learning styles.
