We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Civil Foreman to join our team at SYSTEMATIC CONTRACTING LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction sites and supervising the use of machinery and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction in the UAE and proven experience as a construction foreman. They must also have experience in high-rise building and an in-depth knowledge of construction procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans
  • Reading project plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to laborers and subcontractors
  • Training, managing, and mentoring laborers and subcontractors
  • Creating and managing schedules and monitoring attendance of laborers
  • Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs
  • Overseeing construction sites and supervising the use of machinery and equipment
  • Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
  • Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction in UAE
  • Proven experience as a construction foreman
  • Must have experience in high-rise building
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and equipment
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Aptitude in math
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Firm understanding of providing survey functions for civil works
  • Demonstrative knowledge of software programs
  • Effective communication skills – written and verbal
  • Experience using CAD software
