  • AI Governance Framework Development: Design and build an AI governance framework that aligns with our company's values and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible AI Solutions: Lead the development of responsible AI solutions that embed key design elements such as anonymization, access control, and guidelines for third-party partners and vendors.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with IT, business units, cyber security, legal, data and data science teams to champion AI governance across the company.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management processes for AI projects, identifying potential risks, evaluating their impact, and designing mitigation strategies.
  • Metrics and Performance: Monitor and report on AI governance metrics and Center of Excellence performance.
  • Capability Development: Develop a plan and facilitate continuous increase in responsible AI capability e.g. ensuring all staff have basic understanding of AI governance framework, principles and design standards.
  • Industry Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements concerning data and AI governance.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced Degree: Advance degree (Masters/PhD) in law, business law, or business, engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Ethics, IT, or a related field.
  • Continuous Education: Preferably: Track record of continuous education/learning in areas such as big data, analytics, data science, ML, AI or digital transformation
Experience:
  • Business Governance: 10+ Proven experience working in business focused governance, audit, regulatory and security dimensions from role that require both design in a business context and control
  • Industry Experience: 5+ experience within GCC region ideally from Telco
  • Leadership Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of building business centric solutions
  • Data Governance: Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills to effectively manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
