Textile Engineer

As a Textile Engineer at Carrefour Dubai, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our products. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Textile Engineer - Pattern Designer.

• Collaboration with Product Designers: Meet with product designers to discuss the base design and ensure alignment with company goals.
• Design Model Interpretation: Read and interpret design models and blueprints to identify areas for improvement.
• Template Creation: Create rough-draft templates using computer drafting software and freehand techniques to bring designs to life.
• Pattern Development: Measure, cut, and design patterns in the material required to meet product specifications.
• Quality Control: Double-check the pattern dimensions and style to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Manufacturing Check: Send the initial pattern for a manufacturing check to ensure seamless production.
• Design Review: Meet with designers to review the final product and gather feedback for future improvements.
• Pattern Tweaking: Make adjustments to the pattern as needed and file the design for future reference.
• Reporting: Report back to company managers on design progress and any challenges encountered.
