Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on the latest health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on health, safety, and environmental performance, including incident reports, risk assessments, and compliance status.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
