Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform thorough medical evaluations and assessments for patients, which include conducting physical examinations, reviewing medical histories, and ordering as well as interpreting diagnostic tests.
2. Identify and treat a diverse array of medical issues, both acute and chronic, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical protocols.
3. Create and execute personalized treatment strategies for patients, taking into account their medical history, preferences, and overall health objectives.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including specialists, nurses, and support personnel, to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal health outcomes.
5. Stay informed about the latest developments and research in internal medicine by attending conferences, seminars, and continuing education programs.
6. Educate patients on disease prevention, management strategies, and lifestyle changes, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare journey.
7. Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
8. Maintain effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care.
9. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical practice guidelines to enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and overall healthcare delivery.
10. Uphold a professional and ethical demeanor in all work-related activities, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and integrity in interactions with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related discipline.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- 3 to 7 years of internship and clinical residency training, specializing in internal medicine.
- Successful completion of the Internal Medicine Certification Examination.
- Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in internal medicine.
- Valid and active medical license in the country of practice.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding research and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize with patients.
- Flexible working hours.
Compensation: 65000 AED - 95000 AED per month plus standard benefits.
