**Job Summary**

The Channel Governance Risk Expert will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of governance risk management compliance and control processes within the branches and alternative channels.

This role requires strong analytical skills to identify and assess risks associated with CBG Channels, as well as effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and ensure seamless assignment delivery.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • CBG Channels Control Reviews: Perform and supervise CBG Channels Control reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant external regulatory/statutory requirements.
  • Theme and Clear Desk Policy Reviews: Conduct Theme and Clear Desk Policy reviews as required.
  • Scope of Work: Ensure that the scope of work performed during CBG Channels Control reviews provides adequate and appropriate coverage.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide advice, guidance, and support to less experienced team members and review their working papers to ensure proper coverage.
  • Non-Compliance Issues: Communicate and discuss non-compliance issues with all relevant units' management to avoid disagreement.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Review and prepare CBG Channels Control review reports in a timely manner.
  • Coordination and Follow-up: Follow up and coordinate with relevant units' management on target dates, comments, and ensure effective remedial action is taken.
  • Strategic Contribution: Assist in developing and implementing a governance framework for all CBG Channels Control activities and support implementation of CBG BSC in relation to Groups Audit mandate to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.

**People Management:**

  • Act as a role model to direct and indirect reports to drive adherence to FAB's values and support talent development within the team.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure seamless assignment delivery.
