Key Responsibilities- Develop and analyze cost structures for various recipes and menu items in collaboration with the Executive Chef, providing insights on optimal pricing strategies.
- Conduct thorough audits of goods received at the hotel, ensuring compliance with established procedures to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Compile and present daily financial reports detailing food costs, while also verifying the integrity of daily outlet void control sheets.
- Participate in significant banquet events, preparing comprehensive Profit & Loss statements and summarizing banquet revenue for management review.
- Perform random inventory checks across outlets, reconciling stock levels with sales data and store issues to ensure accurate reporting.
- Oversee and validate complimentary service orders, including bar orders and Club Rotana Food & Beverage costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Education: A degree in Hotel Management or Accounting is required.
Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a hotel setting is essential.
Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, along with a solid understanding of food and beverage cost control practices. Proficiency in computer applications is mandatory, while familiarity with systems such as Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System will be considered an advantage.
