Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive SEN lessons to high school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards. This role requires strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on SEN education.

  • Deliver high-quality SEN lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to inspire a love for SEN and foster critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in SEN.
  • Proven experience teaching SEN at high school level, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
