About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our team at Precision Hire Solution. As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing tax compliance requirements and procedures across the Middle East & Africa region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Compliance Assistance: Support the local tax compliance filing processes, especially for VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and withholding tax in the Middle East & Africa region.
  • Legislation Monitoring: Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation, regulations, and judicial decisions affecting company operations and financial positions.
  • Tax Validation: Perform tax validation, data reconciliation, and VAT General Ledger accounts review on input and output tax, ensuring accuracy with tax returns.
  • Issue Identification: Identify tax compliance issues/red flags and provide practical recommendations and solutions.
  • Draft Review: Conduct preliminary reviews of draft monthly, quarterly, and annual local tax returns prepared by external advisors.
  • Compliance Checks: Support the tax team in conducting periodic tax compliance checks on business units, highlighting areas of exceptions and documenting compliance requirements.
  • Training Support: Assist in conducting tax training sessions for various stakeholders as needed.
  • Advisory Role: Provide tax advice and support on various service lines and business projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: 3 years of progressive tax experience in the Middle East region, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Taxation (or professional qualifications), solid fundamental tax compliance knowledge and tax analytical skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, detail-oriented, good team player, honest, adaptable, keen learner, diligent with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in French as financial statements and tax reports will be in French.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Tax experience in Morocco and other Northern African countries is a plus, experience in the TMT/technology industry is a plus, experience working in Big 4/MNC is preferred.
