We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Offshore Pipeline Engineer to join our team at Technip Energies. As a key member of our pipeline discipline, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and design activities to support the delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to the Pipeline Discipline Head as required, and perform design activities assigned by the lead engineer in accordance with standard engineering practices and project requirements.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with squad team leaders, specialists, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of pipeline projects.
- Design and Documentation: Ensure that pipeline deliverables are prepared and checked to meet industrial standards and project requirements, and that design activities are completed within allotted man hours and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all prepared deliverables are properly checked for accuracy and completeness in line with respective checklists prior to passing to the lead engineer for final technical scrutiny.
- Proposal and Project Support: Provide pipeline inputs to proposals and projects, and close out reports as required.
- Engineering Specifications and Standards: Participate in developing and ensuring engineering specifications and standards in all phases of the project.
- Documentation and Quality Audits: Ensure that final prints of deliverables are properly documented and available for quality audits.
- Design Inputs and Review: Provide design inputs to the lead engineer in project review meetings, vendor meetings, and other relevant forums.
- Design Parameters and Drafting: Provide design inputs to the drafting team and check design parameters in drawings.
- Vendor Coordination and Technical Inputs: Coordinate with project team members, specialists, and vendors as instructed by the lead engineer or Head of Discipline, and provide all technical inputs requested by vendors.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in pipeline engineering, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
