  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Sample Collection and Analysis: Assist with the collection, preparation, and analysis of samples and specimens, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately and precisely document and record laboratory data, maintaining detailed records of experiments, results, and observations.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with scientists and researchers to support and contribute to ongoing projects and experiments, providing technical assistance and expertise as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in the development and improvement of laboratory processes and procedures, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed, ensuring a well-stocked laboratory environment.
  • Environmental Safety: Ensure a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of laboratory techniques and protocols, knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for handling chemicals and hazardous substances, proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask effectively, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
