As a Quality Control Specialist at EthosEnergy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and coordination with vendors to support workshop overhaul activities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting the disposition of incoming equipment to ensure that all materials meet the required standards and specifications.
- Making informed decisions on the routing of parts for repair using EthosEnergy's specifications, criteria, procedures, and tolerances as guidelines.
- Performing precise measurements using various precision measuring equipment, including Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Gauges, and run-out fixtures.
- Carrying out detailed inspections of parts to ensure that they meet the required quality standards.
- Conducting receipt inspections of repaired components to ensure that they meet the required specifications.
- Entering data into the ERP system (iFlight) for the production receipt of all repair components.
- Signing off on inspection/hold to ensure that all quality control procedures are completed.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and contribute to the success of EthosEnergy.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Able to use precision measuring equipment accurately to ensure that all measurements are precise and reliable.
- Basic computer skills to navigate the ERP system and other software applications.
- Attention to detail to ensure that all quality control procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and vendors.
- Knowledge of and proactive engagement on HSE requirements to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Strong focus on and passion for customer satisfaction to ensure that all customers receive high-quality products and services.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to contribute to the success of EthosEnergy.
- Flexibility in support of changing external and internal customer needs to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Appropriate IT familiarity and data management skills to navigate the ERP system and other software applications.
- Review skills statements to ensure that all quality control procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.
