- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, address any concerns, and provide exceptional service.
- Financial Transactions: Collect payments for cash-on-delivery orders and accurately record transactions when necessary.
- Logistics Management: Maintain delivery records, including logs of miles driven, deliveries made, and any incidents or delays encountered during deliveries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the delivery vehicle.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to optimize delivery operations and resolve any issues or challenges encountered.
- Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
- Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to lift and carry heavy packages and loads as needed, basic math skills for handling payments and maintaining accurate records.
- Work Environment: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, commitment to adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
Basic Salary - 1500 AED plus compensation per shipment.
