Job Title: Technical Author - Onshore Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Author to join our Onshore Operations team. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to users experiencing technical issues relating to computer hardware, software, and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure new software and hardware components.
  • Evaluate and maintain our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
  • Assist with network administration tasks.
  • Ensure data storage is safe and secure.
  • Resolve all issues employees have with their IT systems and software.
  • Educate employees on network security and best practices for computer usage.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to resolve users' computer hardware and software problems.
  • Maintain logs of support services provided in the ticketing system or other appropriate databases.
  • Develop training materials and/or provide onsite training as requested.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of MacOS.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough understanding of technology commonly used by clients and employees.
Skills:
  • Ability to learn new software and hardware.

  • Assessing customer support needs.

  • Strong knowledge of software packages.
